Find a nest in your yard? Leave it alone! If you are worried about lawn mowers or pets, place temporary fencing around like the photo below until the babies leave the nest.
If you are concerned that a mother is not taking care of her babies, place sticks or string in a tic-tac-toe pattern. Leave a slice of apple or banana for mama. You will be able to tell if she comes and visits during the night if it is disturbed! Remember mothers don't sit on their nest, but only visit it once or twice a day.

Does the baby rabbit I found need help?A photo guide courtesy of an Iowa wild rabbit rehabber. If you are still unsure, contact your local wildlife rehabber by using the link at the top of the page. A Home for EveryBunny is NOT able to take them in or offer advice that is not already on the page.
