A Home for EveryBunny is totally run by volunteers. We have numerous opportunities to help rabbits in Iowa. If you are interested in helping, please contact us by following the link below.
A Home for EveryBunny is entirely foster-based. All our rabbits are housed in homes until they are adopted as we have no physical rescue location. Because of this, our space is very limited. We typically have anywhere between 2 and 5 rabbits on a waiting list just for a foster home.
So how do foster homes work?
The foster home provides the following:
Pelleted food, fresh veggies and fruit, hay, litter/bedding, space, love.
Foster homes also are asked to update the foster team with photos and information about the rabbit's personality. They are also asked to meet with potential adopters (with the help of our foster team) to help facilitate the adoption process.
What does the rescue supply?
A Home for EveryBunny will supply any initial materials a home needs to get started, if needed. This includes a 4x4ft exercise pen, a litter box, the first bag of food, and anything else necessary.
We will also provide continuous support and assistance on behavior or medical needs. We also will provide and pay for any medical needs.
